High Density Cartridge Heaters are made of nickel chromium resistance wire wound on MgO care. The element assembly is inserted into chrome nickel steel tube centrally and filled with MgO powder. It is then compacted into a solid mass by Swagging. Swagging increases thermal conductivity, die electric strength and heater life.

1.Cartridge heater consists of a cylindrical stainless steel tube and thus prevents itself from corrosion. The watt density can reach 25 W/cm2 and the operating temperature can go up to 750°C

2.The cartridge heater is filled with magnesium oxide and compressed to avoid short-circuit. There is a heating wire inside which is wound into a ceramic core. The number of coils varies depending on the power.

Our cartridge heaters are made out of stainless steel, brass or sheaths in low and high watt density in regular and 'd' shape. Our high watt density cartridge heaters come in SS 304, SS 321, SS316 construction and have a watt density of 12 watt / sq. Cm. Apart from this, we also offer our clients low watt density cartridge heaters in Brass or SS 304 sheath with watt density of 4 watt /sq. Cm. We also have the option of getting them manufactured with in-built thermocouples and different types of termination options as per the requirements of our clients. Cartridge heaters are small in size and are available in two types:

The element assembly is inserted into Brass / S.S 304 tube. High grade Mgo powder is filled in the remaining space inside the ceramic insulator to increase thermal conductivity, Dielectric strength & Heater life.
